The Venue

La Fortaleza for Weddings

Built in 1628 to defend the bay against pirates, La Fortaleza spent most of its life as a military post before its restoration into a private estate. Gardens, ramparts, courtyards and the water on three sides give an exclusive-use wedding a full weekend's worth of settings — which is why the estate is booked for multi-day celebrations, and why it was chosen as a filming location for the series The Night Manager.

For us, La Fortaleza is a venue that asks for a complete musical plan across several days and locations: a welcome dinner, the ceremony on the lawn or the ramparts, sunset drinks facing the bay, a seated dinner in the gardens and a proper dance floor. One team covering all of it — singer, band, DJ — keeps the sound consistent and the logistics simple.

How We Play It

Your Day at La Fortaleza, in Music

Welcome evening

Singer with guitar or a jazz trio for the arrival dinner — relaxed, unamplified where possible.

Ceremony

Solo voice or duo on the lawn or the ramparts, sound placed so the bay stays in the picture.

Sunset & dinner

DJ + saxophone for the drinks as the light changes over the bay, then a singer with piano or lounge sets through dinner and speeches.

Party

Full 6-piece band, then DJ for the late set — one sound system, no handover gap. An exclusive estate allows the party to run later than most venues.

Logistics

What We Take Care Of

Multi-day bookings: we quote the whole weekend as one production, with the same musicians throughout.
Access is via a private road from Pollença; load-in windows are coordinated with the estate team and your planner.
Full PA, lighting and backup equipment travel with us — the estate is self-contained, so we bring everything.
The team is Mallorca-based: no flights or hotels to add to a weekend booking.

Yes, and that's the way we recommend booking it: welcome dinner, ceremony, cocktail, dinner and party with one team, planned as one running order. It's simpler for your planner and it keeps the musical quality consistent across three days.

For the party: the full band followed by DJ, or DJ & live combo with sax and vocals all night. For the ceremony and dinner: solo singer or duo. Because the estate is exclusive-use, you have more freedom with timing than at hotel venues.

Always. La Fortaleza is a private estate rather than an events hotel, so every band and DJ package includes PA, lighting, microphones and backup equipment.

Yes — most weddings at the estate are organised by Mallorca-based luxury planners, and we coordinate timings, sound and logistics directly with them.
